January 20 Trudeau 12M regatta at Nantucket Yacht Club

Tonight we raced the Trudeau 12M. The Blake Sea was busy with people trying The Mesh Shop’s new IMOCA and many had to we warned off but fortunately there were no incidents of interference

Viv dominated tonight winning all three races with the second one being very close between her and Moon.

Wind was 190 degrees at 18 kts.

Thanks for hosting these races, Justin.
Racing the 12M is always a challenge and nothing is ever granted with that boat. The important wind shadow can really turn a race upside down, especially downwind. This is exactly what Moon tried to leverage in race 2, in the 2 runs of that course. I managed to fend him off, but barely, indeed. Very close and exciting race, where i had to deploy all my tactical savvy. Cheers!
